Home Flex, installed right
Adjustable to your panel
The Home Flex dials from 16 to 50 amps. Full panel? Run it at 50. Tighter panel? Set it lower, or pair it with load management — the load calculation tells us the right setting, and the charger obeys it.
Hardwired or plug-in
Hardwired for full 50-amp speed and a clean, sealed install, or plug-in on a NEMA 14-50/6-50 outlet at 40 amps if you want to take it when you move. We install both, and we'll tell you honestly which fits your situation.
App and schedule set up
We connect the Flex to your Wi-Fi, set your utility's off-peak window in the ChargePoint app, and show you the controls — so your first charge is already the cheap kind.
What it costs to install
Standard installation from $495 — your Home Flex mounted within a 10-foot run of your panel, with standard hardware. Materials are itemised on your quote; the charger itself is separate (bring yours or buy through us). Anything beyond standard is priced as the difference before we start.

Can you install a ChargePoint Home Flex I already bought?
Yes — boxed, opened, or already mounted by someone else, we'll wire it, configure it, and test it with your car. If you haven't bought yet, we'll confirm the plug type (NEMA 6-50 vs 14-50) or hardwired version matches your panel and garage before you order.
How fast is the Home Flex?
Set to its full 50-amp circuit, the Home Flex delivers up to about 37 miles of range per hour — a full battery overnight for any EV. Its party trick is adjustability: we can set it anywhere from 16 to 50 amps, so it fits panels that can't spare a full 50-amp circuit.
Hardwired or plug-in — which should I choose?
Hardwired unlocks the full 50 amps and is the tidier, weather-tight install; plug-in (NEMA 14-50 or 6-50) tops out at 40 amps and lets you take the unit if you move. We'll recommend based on your panel's capacity and how long you plan to stay — the price difference is small either way.
